Born April 21, 1967 in Athens.
Degree in Greek Philology, University of Crete, Greece.
Postgraduate studies (D.E.A.) in Historical Anthropology of Medieval
West, Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales, Paris.
Studies on Contemporary Dance in Athens, Paris and Berlin.


As an independent writer and artist working in the fields of
photography, performance, urban projects and installation,
Barbara has headed, curated and participated in various artistic
projects, actions and events. Her work has been shown in Athens,
New York, Istanbul, and Berlin.


Barbara has also been a long time publishing advisor, editor and
translator for Greek publishing houses, and a regular collaborator
with Literary and Art quarterlies. She has contributed several essays
and short stories on Art and Society in newspapers, periodicals and
collective volumes around Greece.


Restless global traveler.
